Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! is an edutainment-comedy comic book series developed by RabbidGuy, and produced by DND Entertainment's division DND Art Group, and distributed by DND Entertainment. It is a comic book revival of the 2006 series of the same name.
Production[]
Development for the series began in 2023, when RabbidGuy pitched his own Wubbzy-themed script to the producers of a similar project that goes by the same name. Rejected, RabbidGuy decided to work on concepts for his own Wubbzy fan-revival, and recruited voice actors in November. The voice actors recruited were S0URBUGZ/Remy as Daizy, and EpicFridge as Walden.
On November 24th, Remy was also hired as a character and art designer.
Starting after that, production began slowing down, with scripts being written at a slow pace, and little to no activity in the show's Discord production server. The first complete scripts were for the episode The Missing Music Notes, and the shorts Bowly-Bowl and Drip Painting. On January 28th, Cherrylemondrop97 (formerly basurtoj15) was hired to play as Widget. During production, 2 new characters were rumored to be introduced, and were later confirmed on May 17th, 2024, with the new characters being Harmony and Chris. A demo reel was posted the same day, with rough animation and unfinished graphics. On May 22nd, PurestMoralCompass was chosen as Wubbzy, and a beta run for the intro theme was posted that same day.
On July 2nd, it was revealed that the Jukebox Robot would return.
On July 3rd, EpicFridge and Cherrylemondrop97 left their roles as Walden and Widget respectively, leaving their spots open. The following day, it was revealed that an episode would be entitled "The Wow Factor Returns!"
The project was confirmed to become a comic book series on December 19th, 2024. It is unknown if Harmony or Chris will continue to be in this revival.
